About the role

  • Monitor product-level financial performance, including gross margin, unit cost, price variance, and profitability.
  • Perform variance analysis and recommend corrective actions for deviations from targets.
  • Track and maintain product cost structures, ensuring accuracy and consistency across systems.
  • Partner with Product Development to assess financial feasibility of new product initiatives.
  • Provide cost and margin simulations for product launches, design changes, and supplier transitions.
  • Analyze cost inputs, market positioning, and profitability targets to support pricing strategies.
  • Initiate and manage purchase order (PO) creation and tracking; ensure compliance with internal controls.
  • Maintain records for cost centers, vendors, and product line allocations; support invoice reconciliation.
  • Prepare recurring reports on product performance; contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Act as financial partner to Sales, Supply Chain, and Product teams; participate in product review committees.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in financial controlling, product management support, or cost analysis.
  • Strong analytical and Excel skills; ability to synthesize large data sets into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across teams and levels.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Background in consumer goods, retail, or manufacturing industries. (Nice-to-have)
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and BI tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Power BI, Tableau). (Nice-to-have)
  • Experience with cost simulation models and product margin tracking. (Nice-to-have)
  • Understanding of supply chain and product development workflows. (Nice-to-have)
