About the role

  • Manage and maintain site Master Data and Supply Chain analytics for a 1,000 colleague animal health pharmaceutical manufacturing site
  • Collaborate closely with Business Process Key Users and stakeholders to ensure accuracy and integrity of data within SAP/ERP and other SCM systems
  • Enforce data standards and oversee data governance to uphold integrity across platforms
  • Assist in mass creation or modification of master data for new product launches or process changes
  • Drive initiatives to optimize data management processes and rectify data quality issues
  • Compile and analyze SCM performance metrics to support decision-making
  • Manage product master data, safety stock levels, and replenishment rules
  • Report updates on RID and distressed inventory to site leadership and finance
  • Support monthly site inventory projection and optimize warehouse space utilization
  • Analyze material usage variances to identify production model accuracy and areas for improvement
  • Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) understanding to facilitate inventory movement and order fulfillment
  • Occasionally work in manufacturing environment and travel domestically/internationally up to 10%

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Computer Science, Business, Supply Chain Management, or Logistics
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency in enterprise-level master data systems with demonstrated ability to handle significant transactions
  • Strong customer focus and clear communication skills
  • Adaptability to dynamic conditions and priorities
  • Familiarity with databases and database processes (preferred)
  • Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and drive outcomes
  • Effective problem-solving abilities to address discrepancies and implement corrective actions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Power BI
  • Strong analytical skills for interpreting inventory data and identifying trends
  • Meticulous attention to detail for maintaining data integrity
  • Knowledge of MPS, MRP, and inventory management principles
  • Effective oral communication skills
  • Proficiency in SAP and self-motivation to meet deadlines
  • Familiarity with warehouse management processes and systems (preferred)
  • Experience in data analysis and reporting tools beyond Excel, such as Tableau or SQL (preferred)
  • Understanding of database structures and query languages (preferred)
  • Previous exposure to animal health pharmaceutical or similar industries (preferred)
  • Must possess or obtain authorization to work in the US
