About the role

  • Work collaboratively to establish a regional business plan
  • Increase distribution of opioid-poisoning treatments
  • Develop strategies and tactics for objectives
  • Prepare and present an annual territory plan
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to develop compliant solutions
  • Serve as the primary liaison with customer stakeholders
  • Establish new accounts and distribution points
  • Identify and interact with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)
  • Maintain contact with the marketing department
  • Collaborate with Government Affairs for growth in channels
  • Expand knowledge base with Medical and Government Affairs
  • Determine potential changes in the health care marketplace

Requirements

  • English-French bilingualism
  • Bachelors’ degree or equivalent required
  • Master’s in Public Health (MPH), Public Administration (MPA), Master of Business Administration (MBA) or related field preferred
  • Eight or more years of experience in a pharmaceutical/biotech sales/account management role
  • Three or more years of experience in sales management
  • Direct experience working with provincial procurement offices, public purchasing teams, or related contracting roles on contracting/RFPs is strongly preferred
  • Proven track record of formulating effective sales strategies
  • Prior experience with opioid antagonist or related products is preferred
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Strong critical thinking/problem solving skills
  • Strong business analytical skills
