About the role

  • Achieve sales objectives in assigned territory through development, maintenance, and enhancement of the business
  • Call on oncologists, urologists, nurses, pharmacists, P&T groups, teaching institutions, hospitals and formulary committees
  • Provide clinical conviction, training, contracting, technology troubleshooting and ongoing customer service for Company products
  • Develop territory business plans and collaborate with sales management to maximize sales and marketing plans
  • Identify and develop relationships with non-prescribing influencers (CEOs, CFOs, Nurse Navigators, injecting nurses, office managers, etc.)
  • Manage implementation and training for Tolmar’s proprietary Inventory Management System in accounts
  • Communicate and partner with other AMRs for overlapping accounts
  • Evaluate and monitor sales data weekly and prepare annual business plans with quarterly analysis
  • Maintain CRM/database with sales call information, sampling data and territory performance
  • Promote appropriate on-label use and deliver clinical/technical product information
  • Attend trade shows, community events and company meetings; travel as required
  • Follow Administrative Expectations: submit expense reports, enter sales calls in CRM, log car mileage, maintain company car, manage promotional budget

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in science, business or related field
  • Two or more years of successful business-to-business sales experience (24+ months), preferably in the urology industry
  • Pharmaceutical/buy-and-bill sales experience preferred
  • Experience navigating 340B sales
  • Experience calling on hospitals and health-related organizations
  • Clinical experience helpful
  • Consistent track record of exceeding sales quotas
  • Ability to be approved and insured to drive company car, valid driver’s license and good driving history
  • Reside centrally within the territory
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent analytical skills and strategic thinking
  • Advanced organization, follow-up, negotiation and selling skills
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Availability for overnight travel up to 50% and travel by air as required
  • Ability to work extra hours and on weekends as necessary
