• Evaluating and analyzing merchant applications and business models according to internal guidelines;
• Reviewing and verifying application documentation and conducting various background checks with internal and external tools to ensure compliance;
• Reporting the results of the background checks to Account Management;
• Collaborating closely with Account Management and other departments (if needed);
• Ongoing monitoring of merchant compliance by using established tools, according to internal procedures.

• Develop and execute a targeted business development strategy for the Dutch and European market
• Identify, qualify, and close new enterprise opportunities across digital commerce sectors
• Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants, platforms, and industry stakeholders
• Understand client payment challenges and design value-based solutions
• Develop ROI-driven proposals and commercial business cases
• Manage pipeline forecasting and opportunity tracking in Salesforce
• Identify opportunities to expand existing merchant relationships (cross-sell / upsell)
• Collaborate closely with Product, Risk, Compliance, Operations, and Implementation teams
• Represent emerchantpay at industry events and within relevant partner networks
