About the role
- Responsible for maintaining and optimizing IT infrastructure for smooth operations and high system availability
- Supports development of intelligent automation solutions to improve operational maturity, scalability, and resiliency
- Available for a rotating on-call schedule to support 24x7x365 operations
- Design and implement automated workflows using Power Automate
- Develop custom business applications with Power Apps to support IT operations and end-user productivity
- Build and maintain intelligent bots and virtual agents using Copilot Studio
- Collaborate with IT Systems, Security, and Project Delivery teams to deploy, secure, and monitor infrastructure
- Manage patching, updates, and endpoint maintenance using automation-first principles
- Monitor and report on system performance and availability, making recommendations for improvements
- Administer backups, security controls, and infrastructure changes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in IT systems administration
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux server administration
- Proficiency in virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
- Scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or Bash
- Experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, and Copilot Studio is required
- Proficiency with monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace, Datadog, Nagios, Zabbix, LogicMonitor)
- Familiarity with IT security best practices and implementation
- Experience with backup and disaster recovery systems
- Proficiency in using monitoring and troubleshooting tools
- Knowledge of IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL)
- Understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements in IT operations
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Relevant certifications such as MCSE, RHCE, CompTIA Server+, or CCNA are preferred
- Self-motivated and proactive in identifying automation opportunities and operational efficiencies
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
