About the role
- Support and maintain M365 and Azure platforms, ensuring stability and compliance
- Configure and enforce Microsoft Azure Guardrails to align with Shared Services Canada (SSC) and Treasury Board Secretariat (TBS) governance and security policies
- Implement and manage standardized M365 playbooks for configuration, deployment, and ongoing support
- Lead M365 service migrations including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and Azure Active Directory
- Deliver training and documentation to internal IT staff to ensure solution sustainability
- Coach junior staff and provide strategic input on platform improvements
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience as a System Administrator
- 5+ years managing MECM/SCCM environments, covering both server and workstation components
- Expertise in Microsoft 365 (M365) and Azure
- Experience with Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, and Azure Active Directory
- Strong background in enterprise-scale cloud migrations and governance
- Experience configuring Microsoft Azure Guardrails and security/compliance policies
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and transfer knowledge
- Minimum clearance: Reliability Status
