About the role
- Develop and execute the strategy for long-term growth of the line of business
- Manage Line of Business revenue and contribution margin
- Develop and deploy global strategy by Line of Business
- Manage strategy deployment through Key strategic Initiatives
- Develop and execute new product development strategy based on VOC
- Maintain NPD governance through stage gate process
- Manage strategic capital deployment for key initiatives
- Manage pricing based on the next best alternative
- Monitor application developments across regions to identify trends
- Act as a ‘Global Ambassador’ for the product line
Requirements
- Technical degree in Chemistry, Material Science, or Physics strongly preferred
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a related field
- Demonstration of strategic thinking and analysis of product properties vs customer needs required
- Team leadership & intercultural cooperation skills
- Willingness to travel globally and extensively
- Strong spoken and written English
- Good to excellent presentation skills
- Good to excellent PC skills, esp Microsoft Office products
