About the role
- Performs business segment reviews for all Elara by building operational and financial reporting tools to support operations and executive decision making.
- Establishes benchmarks for financial processes.
- Prepares monthly profit and loss closing process.
- Participates in the annual budget process and cost saving activities.
- Develops financial plans for organizational leaders.
- Supports G/L accountants with acquisitions (data migration and financial transaction posting).
- Reviews financial data for accuracy and integrity.
- Researches and responses to inquiries regarding costs and/or budget variances.
- Performs monthly financial analysis of financial statements.
- Identifies financial risks and opportunities.
- Prepares spreadsheets and submits reports, as required.
- Promotes Elara Caring’s philosophy, mission statement and administrative policies to ensure quality of care.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting, economics, or statistics
- 3+ years’ experience in accounting, finance, financial modeling, and analysis
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, and PowerPoint)
