About the role

  • Performs business segment reviews for all Elara by building operational and financial reporting tools to support operations and executive decision making.
  • Establishes benchmarks for financial processes.
  • Prepares monthly profit and loss closing process.
  • Participates in the annual budget process and cost saving activities.
  • Develops financial plans for organizational leaders.
  • Supports G/L accountants with acquisitions (data migration and financial transaction posting).
  • Reviews financial data for accuracy and integrity.
  • Researches and responses to inquiries regarding costs and/or budget variances.
  • Performs monthly financial analysis of financial statements.
  • Identifies financial risks and opportunities.
  • Prepares spreadsheets and submits reports, as required.
  • Promotes Elara Caring’s philosophy, mission statement and administrative policies to ensure quality of care.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting, economics, or statistics
  • 3+ years’ experience in accounting, finance, financial modeling, and analysis
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, and PowerPoint)
