About the role
- Lead all Personal Care Services (PCS) operations in alignment with Elara Caring’s mission, vision, and executive leadership priorities
- Drive positive financial, clinical, and operational performance across the PCS organization while ensuring the highest quality of patient care
- Provide strategic direction, leadership, and support to PCS leaders, Administrators, and Clinical Managers to achieve organizational goals, budgets, and quality standards
- Oversee operational execution, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, payer standards, accreditation guidelines, and company policies
- Partner with executive leadership to develop, implement, and execute strategic plans, operational initiatives, and budget priorities
- Monitor operational performance through dashboards, reporting, and analysis, and take action to drive continuous improvement and results
- Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of operational policies, clinical protocols, quality programs, and service delivery standards
- Build, develop, and coach high-performing leadership teams, ensuring accountability, engagement, and operational excellence
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and leadership development to strengthen organizational capability
- Ensure adequate staffing levels, workforce planning, and organizational readiness to meet service delivery and growth objectives
- Promote a collaborative, innovative, and high-performing culture across all PCS operations and branch locations
- Serve as a visible and engaged leader, building strong relationships with internal teams, executive leadership, and community partners
- Support compliance initiatives, including documentation standards, safety protocols, OSHA requirements, and Medicare certification requirements
- Act as a liaison between PCS operations and corporate departments to ensure alignment, communication, and seamless care delivery
- Respond to operational challenges with professionalism and leadership, maintaining focus and direction in high-pressure situations
- Participate in community engagement, leadership meetings, and organizational initiatives to strengthen Elara Caring’s presence and impact
- Protect patient and staff confidentiality and ensure full compliance with HIPAA and privacy regulations
- Lead special projects and operational initiatives to support organizational growth, transformation, and strategic priorities
- Performs other duties/projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Organizational Development, Leadership, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred
- Minimum of five (5) years of leadership experience in healthcare operations, with Personal Care Services or home care strongly preferred
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in organizational leadership, operational management, or program development
- At least two (2) years of direct supervisory experience leading managers or multi-site teams
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license preferred, but not required
- Strong knowledge of Personal Care Services regulations, reimbursement models, and operational compliance standards
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to drive performance, develop teams, and execute strategic initiatives
- Demonstrated experience in organizational development, operational improvement, and project management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to foster collaboration, engagement, and accountability across teams
- High level of professionalism, sound judgment, and ability to navigate complex operational environments
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance in accordance with state requirements
- Ability and willingness to travel at least 25% to support branch operations and organizational priorities
- Must meet all agency health screening and compliance requirements.
