About the role

  • Strengthening collaboration between cities, industry, research organisations and start-ups within the EIT Urban Mobility ecosystem.
  • Act as a key contact point for public authority partners, supporting long-term engagement within the EIT Urban Mobility community.
  • Identification and mapping of relevant public authorities in the region.
  • Recruitment and Key Account Management of new and current public authority partners to expand the reach of our network.
  • Identifying and communicating the priorities, challenges and opportunities of EIT Urban Mobility city partners (Leading Cities).
  • Translate city needs into concrete collaboration and project opportunities within the EIT Urban Mobility ecosystem.
  • Support the development of innovation consortia and participation in EIT Urban Mobility-funded projects, connecting public authorities with relevant start-ups, SMEs, industry partners and research organisations.
  • Coordinate engagement of public authorities across EIT Urban Mobility strategic priorities, programmes and thematic areas.
  • Facilitate peer learning and exchange of best practices between public authorities to accelerate learning, innovation uptake and replication across Europe.
  • Maintain up-to-date insights on public authorities priorities, contacts and partnerships in EIT Urban Mobility’s CRM system.
  • Represent EIT Urban Mobility at conferences, design and facilitate workshops for partners to respond to ecosystem opportunities.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of key thematics and developments in sustainable urban mobility.
  • 5+ years of experience working in, or with, public authorities – specifically cities, regional governments and/or public transport authorities.
  • Experience working with innovation or grant-funded projects, including consortium building or proposal development.
  • Understanding of public-private collaboration and innovation ecosystems.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, including public speaking.
  • Ability to translate strategic challenges into actionable collaboration opportunities.
  • Results-oriented mindset and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Willingness to travel when required.
  • Written and spoken English (C1) and fluency in Danish, Swedish or Norwegian.
