Define technology requirements, build program plans, and secure resources to drive process technology development programs
Develop and execute yield improvement and process margin improvement roadmaps to support rapid yield ramps of new technology nodes and packaging solutions
Lead problem-solving activities (Kempner-Tregoe or KT-like problem-solving & decision-making process)
Define and implement Design of Experiment (DoE)
Present technical findings and communicate same-site and site-to-site
Coordinate conversion timelines and establish contingency plans
Drive process innovation focused on cost efficiency and technology excellence
Define sophisticated process flows for vertical integration and line monitoring
Project management and statistical analysis for yield improvement
Develop new line monitoring methods and resolve critical metrics
Use Micron systems for conducting experimental work and documenting outcomes
Analyze experimental results and provide clear, practical recommendations or decisions
Write Engineering Change Notices and Change Documentation (ECN and GCP)
Coach and mentor early/mid-career engineers and technicians; teach classes as needed
Work independently, set direction with alignment of leaders and partners, and advise/lead others to achieve program goals
Seek opportunities to work multi-functionally, build networks, and gain competency across domains
Requirements
Minimum of 18 years of relevant industry experience
MS or PhD or equivalent experience in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Materials, or a closely related field
Deep knowledge of Advanced Package Integration and DRAM, NAND or other memory (3DIC, FO, Hybrid bond...etc.)
Excellent data extraction, analysis, and reporting skills (System analytics, JM, etc.)
Ability to be flexible with job responsibilities and take the initiative to assume added responsibilities
Optimally demonstrated teamwork skills with a focus on developing good team dynamics
Skilled at effectively prioritizing multiple and sophisticated tasks
Apply sound engineering principles and judgment, seek advice from e-authorities, and make critical and timely decisions
Ability to advise and lead the work of others and ensure good communication, engagement, and accountability
