Develop and implement a global safety and health strategy aligned with company goals and sustainability objectives.
Develop and manage global safety programs including hazard identification, risk assessment, and incident prevention.
Supervise and ensure adherence to safety and health regulations at international, national, and local levels.
Provide global oversight to investigations of safety incidents, conduct root cause analyses, and lead corrective actions.
Manage cross-functional teams and engage with site leaders, HR, legal, and operations to integrate safety into business processes.
Coordinate global safety training programs and establish benchmarks and dashboards to monitor safety performance.
Promote psychological safety, diversity, equity, proactive risk management, and employee engagement in safety culture.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health, Safety, Environmental Science, or related field (Master’s or equivalent experience preferred).
Over a decade of advancing experience in health and safety.
Minimum of 5 years in a leadership position on a global scale.
Deep understanding of international safety regulations and standards.
Proven ability to lead cross-cultural teams and drive global initiatives.
Strong analytical, communication, and collaborator management skills.
Experience managing cross-functional teams and global initiatives.
International travel required.
