• Assist RPLS in all phases of ALTA/NSPS Land Title Survey projects for Wind and Solar developments nationwide
• Perform comprehensive deed and title research, including Schedule B exception review and easement analysis

• Verify field crew layouts and perform field QA/QC for ALTA compliance
• Draft ALTA plats, boundary exhibits, easement exhibits, and survey deliverables using AutoCAD Civil 3D

Surveyor In Training – SIT/LSIT

General

• Measure and record precise distances and angles on, above or below the land surface, including boundary points, ALTAs, topographical features and other designated markers
• Use a variety of modern surveying equipment, manual recording, computer-aided drafting programs and databases to collect and record data of geological areas according to project requirements
• Research historical maps, land records, previous survey results and land title information as needed to compare and verify current measurements and resolve questions of boundary lines
• Create reports and maps according to customer or project requirements containing information from field measurements, boundary markers and topographical features
• Prepare two-dimensional maps and three-dimensional computer renderings of property features, such as boundary lines, geological points of interest, existing structures, water features and utility lines
• Follow accepted legal procedures to establish official land and water boundaries for government agencies, real estate developers and private parties to be used during property sales, leases and disputes
• Communicate with architects, engineers and construction personnel as needed during land development projects to verify geological and property boundary data and contribute to building design as needed

Survey Data Technician

• The Survey Coordinator oversees all assigned projects and related aspects including field personnel and technical staff.

• Ensure compliance with processes and procedures including data download and QC
• Work with the PMs to prepare, monitor and adjust the project quality plan
• Assist with project scoping and estimating

Survey Coordinator

• Work as a one-man crew or supervise a survey crew performing boundary, topography, ALTA, right of way, and construction surveys for public and private clients
• Support projects in NC, SC, TN and be able to travel throughout the region on short notice
• Setup, operate and routinely validate accuracies of survey equipment including data-collector, digital level, and GPS system
• Perform and verify survey related mathematical calculations
• Prepare and maintain legible field notes and sketches for all work performed
• Perform all aspects of stakeout and location surveys using applicable survey equipment

• Will develop, check, and review all finished deliverables with the Project Manager and/or Survey & Mapping Manager for Quality Assurance and Quality control.
• Will coordinate the development, checking, and submittal of alignment sheets, property plats, detailed construction drawings, site specific exhibits, and permit drawings as specified by the client or project manager.
• Will coordinate a remote team of drafters and survey data technicians.
• Will coordinate deed plotting and boundary rectification with PLS.
• Will perform and coordinate checking of drawing packages and other deliverables.
• Will provide timely progress reporting and forecasting
