About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • The Survey Coordinator oversees all assigned projects and related aspects including field personnel and technical staff.
  • Field survey crew scheduling and forecasting
  • Provide input on safety plans and ensure work activities are compliant
  • Ensure compliance with processes and procedures including data download and QC
  • Work with the PMs to prepare, monitor and adjust the project quality plan
  • Assist with project scoping and estimating
  • Ensure adequate field supplies are available
  • Ensure the availability and serviceability of field equipment and vehicles
  • Audit field tasks
  • Coordinate field training sessions
  • Conduct performance reviews for field staff

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in surveying is required
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Party Chief is preferred
  • Licensed Land Surveyor/LSIT preferred but not required
  • Proven ability to complete all technical aspects of a surveying task is required
  • Operational understanding of GPS & survey equipment
  • Good social and communication skills required
  • Reputation as a trusted and respected member of the surveying community is required
  • The selected candidate must be able to pass background and drug tests, and have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
