About the role

  • Support the development of high-quality content for Education Perfect's online Ontario English/Language offering
  • Write multiple lesson scripts addressing specific parts of the Strand B curriculum across Grades 6 to 9
  • Ensure lesson scripts cover a depth of knowledge and align with curriculum standards
  • Work on projects that impact students' lives and develop your skills with freedom, support and resources
  • Commit to approximately 15 hours per week between late September and late November on a contract basis
  • Payment based on deliverable items; submit resume and brief cover letter

Requirements

  • You have at least one year of experience teaching the new Ontario English/Language Curriculum for Grades 6 to 9, and two-five years of experience teaching at least one of B2.1 or B2.2 within Grades 6 to 9 as a whole
  • You have familiar with the Right to Read initiative (preferred, but not required)
  • You are experienced in and enjoy making teaching resources
  • You are tech-savvy and enjoy working with technology
  • You have excellent time-management skills and the ability to work independently
  • Commitment of approximately 15 hours per week for project duration (late September to late November)
