About the role

  • Administration of MS SQL database systems (2014 and later) in failover cluster configurations.
  • Implementing and further developing automated processes and reports (T-SQL scripting / SSIS / SSRS).
  • Optimizing T-SQL statements and database structures.
  • Release management (2014 and later).
  • Advising and supporting system and application development on logical design, database technology, and database operations.
  • Implementing and evolving reporting and analytics strategies.

Requirements

  • Relevant experience administering MS SQL databases.
  • Structured approach and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong comprehension, analytical mindset, and structured thinking.
  • Excellent knowledge of T-SQL.
  • Knowledge of a scripting/programming language (e.g., PowerShell, Python, C#).
  • Good experience with Windows Server operating systems (from 2012 onward).
  • Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written.
