About the role
- Develop strategic work plans for completing sales and service/consultation calls with new and existing customers
- Partner with plant managers and other key personnel to understand their operations and laundry challenges
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations on Ecolab's innovative laundry products and chemicals, processes & programs to increase your customers operating efficiencies
- Cultivate long-term relationships that will lead to increased sales
- Provide extensive hands-on product and solution training
- Leverage your technical aptitude as you troubleshoot laundry machines and dispensing systems
Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs
- Ability to travel regularly, with 10-30% overnight travel required
- Flexibility to work emergency calls at night, on weekends, and over holidays
- Valid driver’s license & acceptable MVR
- Vocational/Technical or bachelor’s degree
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships, influence customers and build trust
- Previous chemical sales experience, commercial laundry industry/operations, or plant management experience
- 2 years’ relevant work or military experience
- 1 year of applied mechanical problem-solving experience (i.e., plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or mechanical trouble shooting experience)
