About the role
- Manage the business and sales activities for the assigned geographical area.
- Develop relationships with key accounts such as top pig and poultry producers and veterinary surgeons within the territory.
- Achieve or exceed sales targets for the agreed territory.
- Prepare and implement key account and sales plans for identified customers.
- Manage a good working collaboration with local distribution partners.
- Provide line manager with regular feedback and report of activities, as agreed.
- Sound use and allocation of resources.
- Sales forecasting for budgeting and stock management.
- Attend events, exhibitions, and meetings internally within ECO’s organisation as well as in the region.
Requirements
- Veterinary background, Zootechnical, Zootechnical Engineering or other relevant background.
- Experience from animal pharma market or any related to animal production (genetics, feeding, additives, Animal Nutrition, etc.) and a minimum of 5 years of sales experience with large accounts.
- High level of English, both oral and written.
- Proven successful sales record with industrial accounts in swine and/or poultry in the assigned territory.
- Good working knowledge of the market.
- Willing to travel and spend approximately 65% of time away from home.
- Other languages of the countries of responsibility are of value.
- Existing relationships with key accounts within the territory.
- Sales or business studies.
