About the role
- Develop and execute a multi-channel social media strategy aligned with business goals, product launches, and marketing campaigns.
- Identify the right platforms and content formats to reach target personas in the SaaS/B2B space.
- Create a consistent brand voice tailored to each social platform.
- Produce, publish, and manage high-quality content, including posts, short-form videos, thought-leadership threads, customer stories, and product updates.
- Maintain an editorial calendar that supports product releases, brand initiatives, and industry moments.
- Coordinate with design, product marketing, and demand gen teams to develop compelling assets.
- Build and nurture an active online community—responding to comments, engaging in relevant conversations, and elevating customer voices.
- Proactively monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging topics.
- Collaborate with Customer Success to spotlight users and integrate social proof.
- Track performance metrics (reach, engagement, CTR, follower growth, share of voice, sentiment, etc.).
- Use analytics to optimize content and inform future strategy.
- Report insights and recommendations to marketing leadership.
- Partner with demand gen on paid social campaigns, A/B testing, and funnel-driving initiatives.
- Support product launches with social content plans that build anticipation and adoption.
- Coordinate with PR for thought leadership, press, and event coverage.
Requirements
- 3+ years of social media experience, ideally within a SaaS or B2B tech environment.
- Proven track record of growing and managing social accounts across LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube.
- Strong understanding of SaaS marketing funnels, ICPs, and buyer journeys.
- Excellent writing, storytelling, and content-crafting skills.
- Ability to create short-form video or collaborate effectively with creative partners.
- Familiarity with social analytics tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, HubSpot, Buffer).
- Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-moving, data-driven environment.

- Experience with paid social or working alongside paid media teams.
- Knowledge of SEO, content marketing, or product-led growth strategies.
- Understanding of developer communities, technical audiences, or niche verticals.
- Experience with AI content tools or social listening platforms.
