About the role

  • Develop a training plan, including material preparation, to educate employees on AI ethics, development, and regulations.
  • Support the Responsible AI program’s internal operations and management.
  • Track the team’s progress against our work plan.
  • Coordinate regular updates to collaborators on operational performance and regulatory adherence indicators.
  • Support some RAI Governance activities, like managing RAI-related agenda items for the AI Governance Council and coordinating input from multiple stakeholders, at multiple levels of seniority.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure AI systems are designed and implemented in line with eBay’s ethical standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Program Management, Computer or Data Science, Product Management, Ethics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in AI, technology ethics, risk management, or a similar field, with a focus on program management.
  • Proficient knowledge of AI technologies, ethical considerations, and regulatory environments.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing guidelines, training programs, and communication strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage partners at all levels.
  • Proven experience in effectively collaborating with various groups throughout a company.
