About the role

  • Sales Executive for Industrial Portfolio focused on sourcing and closing new business
  • Develop current accounts through portfolio selling and exceed targets across all products
  • Travel to exhibitions and competitor events as required
  • Create strategic proposals and hold face-to-face meetings and telephone calls with prospects
  • Account management of current client base and ownership of clients and prospects
  • Work closely with marketing and operations to support successful project management and event success
  • Attend competitor events as an Advanced Engineering ambassador
  • Retain customers year on year by building relationships and demonstrating event ROI

Requirements

  • Personable with excellent communication skills, both written and interpersonal
  • Consultative approach to sales with an interest in creating the right opportunity for the client
  • Big picture thinking, adaptability and resilience
  • Ability and interest in performing research to identify new business opportunities
  • Team player
  • Entry level position though experience in customer facing role is strongly preferred (retail, hospitality etc)
  • Ambitious and driven individual who takes pride in owning a project
  • KPI driven, viewing KPIs and targets as opportunity to exceed performance
  • Preferred: Experience working within the events industry
  • Preferred: Keen interest in sales and the industrial sector, specifically engineering
