Develop a portfolio of customers, prospects and Centers of Influence (COIs) through networking and other business development efforts.
Sell bank products to new and existing customers.
Partner with assigned branches for cross sale opportunities and customer relationship management.
Manage relationships externally with key Community Partners to leverage programs, tools and resources that can assist Business Banking customers grow and make their business more profitable.
Source, evaluate and recommend new Business Banking opportunities for loan and deposit relationships, including Commercial & Industrial (C&I) and Commercial Real Estate (CRE) relationships.
Manage a portfolio of Business Banking clients to help minimize risk for the bank, cross sell to the book of business and create a positive customer experience.
Coordinate calling and relationship management activities with multiple internal business partners including commercial, investments, treasury, retail, and insurance.
Conduct preliminary underwriting and structure of credit requests.
Maintain internal Bank contact management system including full history.
Requirements
Bachelors Degree or equivalent combination of training and related experience required.
Five-to-eight years of sales and management experience.
Must have a basic understanding of commercial businesses and banking.
Demonstrated basic knowledge of credit with some prior credit training and sales training.
Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and strong interpersonal skills.
Strong sales skills in a fast paced environment.
Able to utilize full range of prospecting sales activities.
Technologically proficient.
Candidate must be able to attend networking and other events outside of customary business hours.
Must be a self starter and able to self generate sales prospects and pipeline.
