- Develop leadership skills through 'duty' and being the first point of contact for Support Workers
- Take the lead on a key service area, e.g., medication and Equality & Diversity
- Complete the Team Leader Level 3 apprenticeship during the first 12 months
- Line manage a team of Support Workers/Lead Support Workers after completing the apprenticeship
