About the role
- Review contract details, assess project scope, and build customer relationships
- Manage schedules, costs, and resources to complete projects on time, within budget, and to client specifications
- Oversee subcontractor and vendor relationships and ensure streamlined project activities
- Lead project closeout activities and facilitate customer sign-offs
- Support Lean initiatives and drive continuous improvement across the project lifecycle
- Represent E2 Optics in client meetings and maintain customer satisfaction and communication
- Lead delivery of large-scale data center and cabling projects and coordinate project teams
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- CAPM or PMP certification preferred
- BICSI RCDD and RTPM certifications are a plus
- OSHA 30 certification preferred
- 5+ years of experience in project management, including data center construction and large-scale cabling technologies
- Experience managing large-scale projects with Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) contracts
- Product experience with Panduit, Systimax, Commscope, Corning, and related technologies
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio)
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- In-depth knowledge of safety protocols, structured cabling, and industry standards
- Ability to operate scissor lifts, telehandlers, boom lifts, and UTVs (buggies) if required
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and climb ladders to 20 feet
- Ability to work in tight, confined spaces and demonstrate regular on-time attendance
