About the role

  • Lead the delivery of OT systems refresh initiatives across multiple generation sites, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations for refresh activities
  • Coordinate with OT engineers, cybersecurity teams, vendors, and field staff to ensure smooth implementation
  • Ensure compliance with relevant standards (e.g., NERC CIP, NIST, ISA/IEC 62443) and organizational policies
  • Oversee hardware and software lifecycle management, including procurement, installation, and decommissioning
  • Monitor and manage risks, dependencies, and change control for all refresh activities
  • Deliver clear, concise updates to executive and managerial stakeholders regarding progress, risk and issues
  • Ensure alignment with service delivery standards and operational readiness
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and standardization
  • Support project delivery with travel to Southern California generation sites (20-30%)

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Proven experience delivering large-scale OT/IT infrastructure or refresh projects in a critical infrastructure or industrial control systems (ICS) environment
  • Strong understanding of Operational Technology networks, SCADA, PLCs, DCS, and field device infrastructure
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity standards (NERC CIP, NIST, ISA/IEC 62443) and regulatory compliance
  • Experience managing vendors, contractors, and cross-functional project teams
  • Proficiency in project management tools (Site tracker, UMT 360pi, MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet, etc.)
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification preferred
  • Ability to travel to onsite locations (20-30%) across Southern California
