Prepare quarterly and annual SEC filings, including Forms 8-K, 10-Q, and 10-K
Responsible for compliance with XBRL, including data tagging and custom tag definition
Perform GAAP and SEC technical research and communicates findings to senior management
Assess impact of new accounting pronouncements on financial statements
Create and maintain monthly reporting package for senior management
Interface with management to answer questions and provide variance explanations
Analyze monthly financial results and prepare variance analysis
Provide financial data to senior management and other corporate departments
Create and maintain complex reporting layouts and spreadsheets
Maintain the external reporting process maps
Perform ad hoc GAAP and accounting policy research
Produce complex PowerPoint slides containing financial results for executive presentations

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
CPA strongly preferred
7+ years’ accounting/financial analysis experience, including 2+ years’ SEC reporting experience
Thorough understanding of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
MS Office, including advanced skills in Excel
Financial ERP experience (PeopleSoft preferred)
Experience with business intelligence tools
Strong planning, organization, analytical and interpersonal skills
Highly effective written and communication capabilities with all levels of management and staff
Proven ability to work independently and meet strict reporting deadlines.
