• Process accounting transactions in an accurate and timely manner using transaction definitions while understanding their purpose and requirements
• Maintain supporting documentation for transactions in accordance with established file naming and foldering conventions
• Assist in reconciling account balances, including bank recs
• Complete draft of quarterly financials formatting and supporting schedule reconciliations
• Complete initial update of annual footnotes, understanding expected disclosures and related supporting schedules

Assistant Fund Controller – Private Equity, Venture Capital

Accountant

• Monitor cash transactional activity and assure that related accounting entries are accurate, timely, and consistently recorded
• Prepare monthly/weekly bank reconciliations, as appropriate
• Assist with the quarterly closing process, including gathering and confirming NAV statements from underlying investment partnerships for fund of funds clients
• Publish preliminary financial and investor reports and perform initial checks and formatting thereof
• Assist with capital call and distribution processing, including issuing mail merge notices to client investors and processing capital call receipts
• Manage client investor portals and related requests from client investors
• Assist in compiling K-1 header information for a tax preparer, responding to tax preparer requests for additional information, and the electronic delivery of K-1s

Senior Fund Accountant – Private Equity / Venture Capital

• Manage data migrations, including Dynamo Accounting configuration, historical data, and go live preparations.
• Provide private equity related technical and accounting support for new and existing Dynamo clients.
• Analyze client fund LPAs, summarize key terms, and identify nuances to consider as part of the implementation process.
• Assist in the migration of client historical data.
• Assist in template configuration and customization.
• Be a key player in managing the support inbox and responding to client/internal stakeholder's inquiries and requests.
• Recommend enhancements to Dynamo Accounting based on data migration experience.
• Participate in company events as deemed necessary.

• Ownership of financial statement integrity ensuring GAAP compliant statements are accurate and produced on a timely basis.
• Oversee the consolidation of financial results and preparation of consolidated financial statements.
• Implement policies, processes, and procedures to ensure a strong back-office organization.
• Actively drive efficiency through automation and streamlining accounting processes.
• Anticipate and ensure development and maintenance of robust, scalable global accounting capabilities.
• Manage global accounting and tax operations, including all statutory requirements for subsidiaries.
