About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Ownership of financial statement integrity ensuring GAAP compliant statements are accurate and produced on a timely basis.
Oversee the consolidation of financial results and preparation of consolidated financial statements.
Implement policies, processes, and procedures to ensure a strong back-office organization.
Actively drive efficiency through automation and streamlining accounting processes.
Anticipate and ensure development and maintenance of robust, scalable global accounting capabilities.
Manage global accounting and tax operations, including all statutory requirements for subsidiaries.
Oversee the accounting, tax and regulatory compliance and filings for domestic and international operations.
Manage external audits.
Oversee a team of 6-7.
Provide accounting guidance related to proposed transactions to support due diligence, special transactions, and investment-related accounting needs.
Build partnerships and relationships across the organization and externally.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
8+ years of relevant experience.
Experience implementing/maintaining accounting systems and developing reporting and analytics capabilities.
Demonstrated ability to adapt practices, processes and techniques to changing priorities and issues.
Problem solving and decision-making capacity in a high growth environment.
Efficient time management, planning, and organizational skills including demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple projects/tasks.
Ability to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders in multiple countries.
Detail-oriented and passionate about operational excellence.
Strong accounting background with a thorough knowledge of US GAAP.
Experience with Intacct preferred.
M&A experience a plus.
