Support the operational functioning of the UK Delivery Centre team in Manchester, providing a high standard of service delivery to internal and external clients
Proactively complete activities across a wide range of standardised work types across practice areas including Insured Litigation, Commercial Litigation, and Finance Litigation
Support delivery of more complex activities and escalations within work types
Liaise with instructors of work regarding return dates, manage expectations and secure feedback to improve service quality
Maintain and develop legal and technical knowledge to work effectively with appropriate supervision
Proactively identify potential issues and suggest solutions to improve client experience and technical knowledge
Assist and provide training/guidance to other junior colleagues where appropriate
Requirements
A law degree, LPC, or relevant prior experience of/within the specific legal field
Evaluation and analytical skills, good time management and commercial awareness
Basic to intermediate IT and keyboard skills with knowledge of Word, Excel and database programmes such as Lexis Library, Lawtel, Westlaw and Practical Law
Excellent administration/organisational skills
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
(Desirable) Drafting legal documents and standard forms
(Desirable) Assessing relevance of a wide range of documentation as part of contentious claims
(Desirable) Managing electronic data site including uploading and ordering documentation
(Desirable) Providing pre and post completion support on transactional work areas
(Desirable) Legal support experience in litigation, commercial, corporate, banking and insurance
