About the role
- To handle in your own right a defendant personal injury caseload, as well as assisting a Partner on more complex cases.
- Manage cases in accordance with departmental and client service standards and protocols.
- Serve as a trusted and proactive team member, ensuring accurate and timely updates to the case management system, reviewing confidential records, and maintaining clear communication with clients.
- Handle technical aspects of cases under the guidance of senior colleagues, contributing to the delivery of high-quality legal support.
- Progress cases efficiently and effectively, aiming for timely resolutions that meet client expectations.
Requirements
- Essential experience in defendant personal injury litigation, involving Employer Liability (EL) and Public Liability (PL).
- Experience managing your own caseload or assisting more senior team members.
- Experience in using case management systems such as Visual Files.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage a high-volume workload.
- A client-focused approach and a strong team player mentality.
- Desirable experience handling or assisting on an abuse caseload.
