About the role

  • Provide support to senior/qualified team members managing a litigated, defendant casualty/motor caseload.
  • Draft court documents, attend hearings, and ensure compliance with court deadlines.
  • Conduct liability investigations, gather and assess evidence, and prepare client advice.
  • Identify appropriate medical experts and draft detailed instructions for expert reports.
  • Review and analyse medical records and other case-related documentation.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on the case management system in line with client service level agreements.
  • Perform general administrative duties to support case progression.
  • Deliver exceptional client care and maintain professional communication at all times.

Requirements

  • Previous and tangible experience handling in your own right or assisting on a litigated, defendant personal injury caseload, preferably including motor and casualty claims.
  • The ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks, whilst working to strict deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to quickly and carefully analyse files and sensitive data.
  • Computer literate including proficient use of Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Previous knowledge of working with a case management system.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of the importance and use of Management Information.
