About the role

  • Oversee trust and client disbursements functions and personnel
  • Annual trust filing, T3 and CDIC reporting
  • Bank and trust reconciliations
  • Posting month end journal entries
  • Assisting with employee reimbursements and credit card reconciliations
  • Perform other duties as required

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Management, or related field
  • Proven leadership experience in overseeing administrative processes and ensuring quality control
  • Ability to delegate tasks effectively, provide clear instructions, and foster an environment for open communication and clarifying questions
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills, with a focus on guiding and motivating teams
  • Superior communication skills, both verbal and written, with a leadership approach that encourages collaboration and efficiency
  • Previous experience in a legal environment and with trust management is a strong asset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.) at an advanced level
  • Resourceful and proactive in problem-solving, capable of leading teams through challenges
  • Quick learner, adept at adapting to new software, processes, and programs, and capable of training team members
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards
  • Enthusiastic about taking on new challenges and leading with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Professional demeanour in communicating with stakeholders, clients, and team members
  • Exceptional organizational skills, able to manage multiple priorities, and lead effectively in a fast-paced environment
