About the role

  • Assisting and providing support to senior team members who manage a multi-track catastrophic injury caseload
  • Drafting court documents, attending court hearings, working to court deadlines
  • Conducting liability investigations, gathering evidence, preparing advice to clients, identifying medical experts and preparing instructions
  • Reviewing medical records and other case related documents
  • General day to day administration tasks including keeping the case management system up to date and in line with client service level requirements
  • Providing the highest level of client care at all times

Requirements

  • Previous experience assisting on a litigated caseload
  • A real interest in Employers Liability, Public Liability, RTA and, catastrophic injury work
  • The ability to manage and prioritise tasks, whilst working to strict deadlines
  • The ability to work well as part of a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic to intermediate IT and keyboard skills with knowledge of Word, Excel and database programmes
  • Flexibility, willingness to learn on the job and to participate in learning and development opportunities
