Work within Design Studio to bring Duolingo’s world to life through motion, characters, and sound
Requirements
A broad portfolio of professional work showcasing animation craft and technical expertise
5 years of experience in motion design, preferably for digital products
A strong foundation in After Effects, with interest or experience in Figma, Rive, and AI tooling
Proven ability to thrive in small, fast-paced teams and champion your work to teammates and leadership
A highly organized and iterative creative process
The ability to work in or relocate to Pittsburgh, PA, Detroit, MI, or New York, NY
Experience working on both in-house teams and in a studio/agency (exceptional candidates)
Experience writing specs and collaborating with engineers to implement animation to product (exceptional candidates)
Experience in animating and rigging interactions in Rive (exceptional candidates)
