Engineering Manager

• Drive the technical strategy. Own architectural decisions across the stack - from how data flows out of EHR and practice management systems, through backend services and business logic, to how it's presented in customer-facing applications. Make pragmatic choices that balance speed with durability at an early-stage company. Establish engineering standards, patterns, and practices that scale as the team grows.
• Build Data-Intensive Products. Design and implement backend systems that transform complex healthcare data into products practices actually use. Build the application surfaces - dashboards, workflows, operational tools - that put that data in the hands of clinic staff. You're as comfortable modeling data and writing performant queries as you are building the UI layer that makes that data useful.
• Turn Services Into Software. Work closely with operations and product to understand how work is done today. Identify patterns in manual, service-driven processes and translate them into durable software abstractions - configurable workflows, rule-based automation, and self-serve tools that replace human-in-the-loop work.
• Manage and Grow the Team. Define the vision for how the technical organization is structured and scales, and own the end-to-end hiring process that builds it. Provide technical leadership to a small data and engineering team through architecture guidance, code review, and mentorship. Help onboard engineers as the team grows. Create an environment of ownership, clarity, and high standards.
• Own Quality & Reliability. Write thoughtful tests for workflow logic and core systems. Debug production issues and improve systems based on failure modes. Ensure changes are safe, observable, and reversible. Set the bar for what "production-ready" means at Duet.

Senior Product Engineer, RCM Operations

Recruitment

• Own full-cycle recruiting across all functions - clinical, operations, business development, technology, and everything in between
• Partner with hiring managers to define roles, build pipelines, and close strong candidates quickly
• Manage our ATS and keep hiring data clean, accurate, and useful
• Coordinate external search partners for senior or specialized searches when needed
• Represent Duet's brand and values at every touchpoint of the candidate experience
• Manage our PEO, including onboarding new hires, so everyone starts strong
• Own day-to-day HR processes: PTO, leaves, employee relations, policy questions, and compliance
• Support managers on performance conversations, documentation, and corrective action when needed
• Maintain accurate records in our HRIS and ensure we're running clean processes as we scale
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of our NYC office - vendors, supplies, facilities, and the little things that make the space work
• Own logistics for company offsites, team dinners, and internal events
• Design and execute cultural programming that builds connection across a growing team

Recruiting Lead

Operations

• Serve as a primary day-to-day point of contact for a portfolio of NP practices
• Guide new practices through the Duet onboarding process
• Conduct regular check-ins with practices to track progress
• Partner with practices to drive adoption of Duet's platform features
• Pull and organize practice data to support performance tracking
• Triage and respond to practice questions and issues
• Work cross-functionally with Billing, Clinical, and Product teams

Customer Strategy and Operations Associate

• Track key health indicators (denial rates, A/R aging, claim submission lag, and collections trends) and surface issues before they become problems. Maintain accurate, up-to-date tracking of open items and practice-level RCM status.
• Investigate and resolve billing issues across the full claim lifecycle, from submission through payment posting, denial resolution, and appeals. Nothing falls through the cracks on your watch.
• Communicate proactively with practices via email and video, translating complex billing data into clear, actionable updates. You’re the person they trust to tell them what’s happening and what to do about it.
• Provide guidance to practice staff on payer requirements, documentation standards, and billing best practices. Help practices stay ahead of issues rather than reacting to them.
• Coordinate with billing partners, track outstanding items, escalate appropriately, and close the loop with practices. Be the connective tissue between practices and Duet’s internal RCM team.
• Flag systemic or recurring issues to RCM leadership. Contribute to building the playbook: developing templates, workflows, and rituals that help us scale RCM operations with consistency and care.

RCM Strategy and Operations Manager

Financial Planning and Analysis

• Own the annual budgeting process and quarterly reforecasting cycles across the business
• Build and maintain financial models covering revenue, headcount, and operating expenses
• Develop and deliver monthly reporting packages with variance analysis and actionable commentary for senior leadership
• Partner with department heads to provide ongoing financial support, budget tracking, and scenario planning
• Support long-range planning and strategic initiatives, including board materials and investor reporting
• Evaluate and implement financial planning tools when ROI is there (Pigment, Mosaic, Adaptive, Anaplan, or similar)
• Work across multiple business entities and build systems to track and manage flow of funds (you will moonlight as a controller)

Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis

Account Manager

• Own the full cycle of bringing independent NP practice owners onto the platform
• Source and qualify NP practice owners through outbound prospecting, conference networking, referral channels
• Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities, tracking activity and deal stage
• Experiment with prospecting tools and sequencing platforms to identify the most efficient channels for our market
• Lead discovery conversations with practice owners to understand their clinical model, payer mix, and revenue challenges
• Work with Duet's diagnostic and analytics tools to build a compelling, data-backed case for each prospect
• Manage deals from initial contact through contract execution
• Represent Duet at NP-focused conferences, regional association events, and industry meetups
• Build relationships in the NP community that generate long-term referral and partnership value
• Bring market intelligence back to the product and clinical teams
