About the role

  • Drive co-development and implementation of public affairs and advocacy campaigns, which align with the organization's business goals and values, to influence policy and regulatory decisions.
  • Ensure an aligned approach on PA standards, priorities and plans.
  • Foster internal awareness of external policy and regulatory developments, to help Business Units and Group functions to anticipate, assess and tackle challenges and opportunities.
  • Help the organization build and maintain strategic relationships with government officials, policymakers, industry and civil society stakeholders at international levels.
  • Support and guide business and regulatory teams to advocate for policies and regulations that benefit our business’ interests and industry.
  • Collaborate with and support relevant industry associations, trade groups, and other external organizations to advance shared objectives.
  • Represent the company in public forums and industry events.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in International Relations, Political Science, Law, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in public affairs, government relations, lobbying, or a related role.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful public affairs and government relations campaigns.
  • Familiarity with EU institutions and EU policymaking processes.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to navigate complex policy and regulatory landscapes.
  • Proficiency in legislative analysis, impact assessment and policy advocacy.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with high level of proficiency in English and at least another EU language.
