Support the Business Unit President and serve as primary service contact for all customers
Speak daily with customers, field questions, and process endorsements, invoices, and policies
Meet periodically with customers to conduct program reviews and discuss policy terms and conditions
Develop trusted relationships, identify gaps in coverage, and upsell or cross-sell to increase revenue
Evaluate and price risks consistent with underwriting guidelines and support reporting of new and renewal business flow
Create proposals and presentations; present terms and conditions and explain features and benefits
Represent the business unit at trade shows and industry events
Explain claims benefits, processes, and procedures and support claims-related customer needs
Requirements
Minimum 2-3 years of insurance Account Management experience
Experience in MGA/MGU or brokerage environments preferred
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution preferred
Licensed in or willing to obtain within 6 months of hire Accident & Health and/or Life & Health in state of domicile
Familiarity with specialized retail agencies across the country
Preferred but not required knowledge of A&H coverage including Blanket Accident, Special Risk, Student Accident, CAT Coverage, International Travel policy language, and risk management concepts
Proficiency with Microsoft suite and ability to learn new policy administration systems
