About the role

  • Successfully manage a team of regional Field Service & Resident engineers ensuring operational performance across the business to achieve and exceed agreed KPI’s.
  • Deliver market leading customer service and enhance customer satisfaction while building strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Oversee and guide Field Service and Resident engineers, conducting performance evaluations.
  • Overview KPI linked data for VOR’s, breakdowns and PM services.
  • Build and maintain customer relationships and address customer enquiries and concerns.
  • Analyze team performance metrics and monitor reports on service delivery and productivity.
  • Manage absenteeism and conduct Return to Work reviews, as well as authorization of annual leave requests and monitoring of overtime requests.
  • Ensure adherence to safety regulations and company policies, collating accident investigation documentation and liaising with Health and Safety Manager.
  • Review incoming CVs in collaboration with Operations Manager and participate in the interviewing process for candidate selection.

Requirements

  • Proven managerial experience and leadership within a technical environment.
  • Material Handling industry knowledge.
  • Strong analytical and strategic planning skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation capabilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
