About the role

  • DOF is expanding the team.
  • We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Financial Accountant to join the accounting team in Singapore. This is a permanent role and is required for an immediate start.
  • As a Financial Accountant, you will be team-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills, and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. You will be part of a small but dynamic accounting team, reporting directly to the Accounting Manager. The team is responsible for delivering accounting services to DOF Group entities.
  • You will be responsible for the following:
  • Perform month-end closing tasks: accruals, intercompany and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Hande fixed assets transactions.
  • Prepare intercompany invoices.
  • Assist with IFRS 16 Lease Accounting.
  • Prepare country-specific government reports.
  • Perform bank reconciliation and posting of customers' payments
  • Assist with monthly cashflow forecast
  • Prepare Financial Statements and handle audits for assigned entities.
  • Assist with internal improvement reviews to enhance processes and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • Professional certification such as CA (Singapore), ACCA, CPA,or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in financial accounting, audit, or reporting. Experience gained from one of the “Big 4” audit firms is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge ofInternational Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
  • Proficiency in accounting systems and advanced Excel skills
  • Exceptional accuracy, attention to detail, and strong analytical problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
