• Fixed-term Management Accountant covering a period of maternity leave, responsible for month-end reporting, budgets, and process improvements.
• Management of the month-end process including preparation and review of monthly management accounts.
• Prepare and review financial journals, including prepayments and accruals.
• Lead a disciplined month-end close process, establishing clear internal deadlines and accountability.
• Develop and refine monthly management information and reporting, focusing on efficiency and automation.
• Manage balance sheet reconciliations and cashflow updates.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and budget holders to ensure optimal cost management and accurate reporting.
• Contribute to effective management of working capital.
• Assist in development of annual budgets and forecasts; update and maintain budget and forecast spreadsheets with budget holders.
• Support the Finance Manager and Finance Director with the year-end audit process and ad-hoc projects.
• Produce ad-hoc internal reports for senior management.
• Manage administration of company credit cards and expenses platform.
