About the role
- Prospect and close new client accounts to businesses within an assigned territory
- Organize and participate in Business-to-Business networking events
- Identify and develop relationships with referral partners
- Conduct cold calls to prospect decision makers
- Provide demonstrations of payroll and human resource products
- Maintain annual sales quota
- Prepare quotations and proposals for payroll services
- Compose marketing e-emails and correspondence to generate new business
Requirements
- Bachelors degree required
- 1-3 years previous business to business sales experience required
- Payroll/finance industry experience preferred
- Proven track record of success in outside sales
- Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills
- Positive self-starter who is not afraid to cold call
- Ability to manage time well, prioritize, and multi-task
- Strong critical thinking skills and problem-solving abilities
- Must have personal transportation and a valid drivers license
