About the role

  • Lead Finance Automation & AI Integration: identify inefficiencies and deploy automation solutions to optimize workflows and streamline finance operations
  • Oversee and prioritize automation opportunities within finance and recommend effective solutions
  • Serve as AI and technology champion within Finance, explore AI-driven automation use cases and present them to promote adoption across DocPlanner
  • Act as Finance SaaS advisor: provide guidance on tools to enable growth, utilize AI/ML to deliver efficiencies, accuracy, flexibility and ensure legal & statutory compliance
  • Lead and participate in cross-functional initiatives (M&A, business/market/product launches and changes, New Finance enhancements)
  • Create training materials, conduct workshops, maintain up-to-date documentation to support systems adoption and best practices
  • Provide primary assistance to users by resolving system problems and responding to inquiries
  • Work with global Finance team and stakeholders to implement finance policies, reporting and system updates

Requirements

  • Strong academic background
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, IT based Business Administration or equivalent is a must
  • Master degree or relevant certifications is a plus
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in Finance operations, including direct responsibility on finance systems and processes (PTP, OTC, RTR)
  • Tech-savvy (or tech-curious) mindset and willingness to get hands dirty with tech solutions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, focus on system optimization, data integrity, and scalable process improvements
  • Detail-oriented and well-organised, able to hold others accountable
  • Hands-on approach and positive 'can do' mindset
  • Ability to navigate complex situations, prioritize effectively, and lead projects autonomously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal relationship skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Experience with automation tools (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, Zapier, Make, 8n8 or similar)
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Full professional proficiency in English, written and spoken; knowledge of any other group language highly preferred
  • A big plus: NetSuite experience
  • Familiarity with programming languages like Python, SQL, or JavaScript
  • Ability to create dashboards using Tableau or Power BI
  • Must already have the legal right to work in your country of residence (no visa sponsorship)
