About the role
- Connects with stakeholders to understand business needs, develops and implements best practices for eBilling management function.
- Continually drives results through innovation and thought leadership.
- Leads a team of eBilling specialists, ensuring overall alignment with the firm’s billing practices, policies and procedures.
- Provides daily supervision, support and guidance to direct reports.
- Ensure work assignments are completed in a timely manner and meet the expectations of internal and external clients.
- Researches and resolves billing issues, including account analysis, and assists attorneys and billing teams with processing and collecting invoices in a timely manner.
- Continually tracks team metrics to ensure the team is meeting service level requirements, analyzes service level issues, and implements solutions expeditiously.
- Creates and maintains complex monthly reporting.
Requirements
- At least two years of experience in a management or supervisory position focused on eBilling is required.
- Experience in an eBilling function in a law or professional services firm.
- Strong computer skills including advanced proficiency of Excel as well as accounting systems such as Elite and/or Aderant (Aderant experience strongly preferred).
- Advanced experience with e-Billing applications such as BillBlast is required.
- Experience working directly with 3rd party eBilling platforms not supported by aggregating platforms (such as BillBlast or eBilling Hub) is essential.
- Minimum Education High School Diploma.
- Preferred Education Bachelor's Degree Finance, Accounting or similar field highly preferred.
- At least two years of experience in a management or supervisory position required.
