About the role
- As a Junior Backend Developer you will be assisting in writing, testing, and debugging backend code following provided specifications and guidelines, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and maintainability; You will be performing unit testing on basic components, identifying errors and reporting findings to senior developers, supporting a structured defect resolution process; You will be documenting code logic, test results, and technical updates, ensuring proper traceability and knowledge transfer for future maintenance; You will be supporting the implementation of small tasks within larger software projects, contributing incrementally to deliverables and learning best practices from senior team members; You will be collaborating with the development team to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve minor software issues, gaining hands-on experience in problem-solving; You will be participating in training sessions and technical discussions, enhancing your programming knowledge and strengthening your understanding of backend development principles.
Requirements
- Any practical experience in programming or software development with .NET - Internships or academic projects are acceptable
- Work in a hybrid set up (3 days onsite in Alabang, Muntinlupa and 2 days WFH) – Necessary condition
- Basic understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git), including committing and branching
- Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail when identifying and resolving issues
- Willingness to learn and adopt coding best practices, demonstrating openness to feedback and continuous improvement
- Good communication and teamwork skills, supporting effective collaboration with peers and senior developers
