About the role

  • Ensure adherence to SDLC and CMMI standards and organizational best practices
  • Evaluate and apply various testing approaches and methodologies
  • Create test effort estimations and allocate resources
  • Develop test strategies and Master Test Plan
  • Review test cases and scripts by team members
  • Write detailed test cases, test scripts, generate test data and Requirement Traceability Matrix
  • Test and certify software defect fixes and new functionalities
  • Execute functional, application, and regression tests for software releases
  • Conduct audits to ensure compliance with CMMI procedures
  • Prepare and submit test reports, defect findings, and quality metrics
  • Coordinate with development and support teams to resolve issues
  • Mentor and guide junior QA analysts

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or software testing
  • 1+ year of experience with automation testing
  • Work in a hybrid set up (3 days onsite in Alabang, Muntinlupa and 2 days WFH) – Necessary condition
  • Advanced experience working with MS SQL, including writing queries for validation and backend testing
  • Proficiency in writing test cases and test scripts
  • Experience in creating a Master Test Plan
  • Deep understanding of Test Design Techniques, QA methodologies, and SDLC models (Waterfall and Agile)
  • Strong knowledge of QA testing tools, different test approaches, standards, and processes
  • Experience leading a QA team in small to medium-sized projects
  • Experience working in various system development environments
  • Nice to have: Exposure to business operations in manufacturing, distribution, and financial sectors
  • Nice to have: ISTQB Testing Certificate
