About the role

  • Drive end-to-end sales process for Diligent’s SaaS GRC solutions, from prospecting through negotiation, closing, and post-sale handover
  • Consistently achieve or exceed annual and quarterly sales targets
  • Prospect for new business and develop relationships with decision-makers in assigned territory
  • Conduct needs analysis and develop value-based proposals tailored to customer requirements
  • Demonstrate Diligent solutions via presentations, storytelling, and product demos
  • Prioritize and maintain high-quality CRM hygiene and accurate pipeline forecasting
  • Follow established sales methodologies including MEDDICC to manage pipeline and progress deals
  • Adapt to evolving sales processes, products, and customer needs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners including BDRs, marketing, legal, security, customer success, and implementation partners
  • Provide regular reporting on pipeline metrics, lead generation activities, and sales forecasts
  • Periodic travel within the assigned region; hybrid model with onsite work at least 50% if within commuting distance

Requirements

  • 6+ years of successful enterprise, SaaS selling experience, including ownership and achievement of annual sales targets
  • Proven hunter mindset, with a demonstrated ability to proactively identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within a defined territory
  • Strong business storytelling, writing, and presentation skills
  • Excellent organization, self-awareness, and customer-focused attitude
  • Proficiency in using Salesforce, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and data hygiene best practices
  • Familiarity with MEDDICC or similar sales qualification frameworks
  • Ability to maintain CRM hygiene and accurate forecasting
  • Periodic travel within the assigned region
  • Preference for NYC or Washington DC based candidates
