About the role
- Drive end-to-end sales process for Diligent’s SaaS GRC solutions, from prospecting through negotiation, closing, and post-sale handover
- Consistently achieve or exceed annual and quarterly sales targets
- Prospect for new business and develop relationships with decision-makers in assigned territory
- Conduct needs analysis and develop value-based proposals tailored to customer requirements
- Demonstrate Diligent solutions via presentations, storytelling, and product demos
- Prioritize and maintain high-quality CRM hygiene and accurate pipeline forecasting
- Follow established sales methodologies including MEDDICC to manage pipeline and progress deals
- Adapt to evolving sales processes, products, and customer needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners including BDRs, marketing, legal, security, customer success, and implementation partners
- Provide regular reporting on pipeline metrics, lead generation activities, and sales forecasts
- Periodic travel within the assigned region; hybrid model with onsite work at least 50% if within commuting distance
Requirements
- 6+ years of successful enterprise, SaaS selling experience, including ownership and achievement of annual sales targets
- Proven hunter mindset, with a demonstrated ability to proactively identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within a defined territory
- Strong business storytelling, writing, and presentation skills
- Excellent organization, self-awareness, and customer-focused attitude
- Proficiency in using Salesforce, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and data hygiene best practices
- Familiarity with MEDDICC or similar sales qualification frameworks
- Ability to maintain CRM hygiene and accurate forecasting
- Periodic travel within the assigned region
- Preference for NYC or Washington DC based candidates
