Provide high-quality, technology-specific consulting and solution design in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, Mobile, CloudPages, AMPscript/SSJS, SQL).
Translate business objectives into data-driven customer journeys and multichannel orchestration via email, mobile and on-site personalisation; define KPIs and measurement plans.
Design data & integration architecture between Core Clouds and Marketing Cloud (Data Cloud, MC Connect, APIs, platform events), including subscriber model, data extensions, consent & preference management (GDPR).
Act as independent, customer-oriented technical project manager: discovery, use case mapping, audience design and enablement for marketing & sales stakeholders.
Serve as interface between strategy, UX and technical implementation; create solution blueprints, data flows, mailings (HTML, CSS, AMPscript) and governance guardrails.
Perform requirements engineering and process analysis (lead lifecycle, campaign ops, segmentation, scoring); advise on deliverability, compliance & data quality best practices.
Hands-on operational setup: configuration, integrations, data preparation, QA, journey tests, release/cutover with focus on scalability and maintainability.
Optionally implement personalisation (Interaction Studio) and intelligence (Datorama) for real-time use cases and marketing analytics dashboards.
Requirements
Sound expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Engagement) including Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Contact & Subscriber Model, AMPscript/SSJS, SQL-based segmentation.
Experience with Account Engagement (Pardot) is a plus.
Good understanding of Core Clouds (Sales & Service): Lead/Contact/Account/Opportunity model, Campaigns and MC Connect data synchronisation; experience with Data Cloud is a plus.
At least three years of experience in automotive sales & marketing projects (OEM, importer, retail) with measurable impact on campaign performance and ROI.
Strong requirements management skills and ability to translate business needs into scalable, compliant marketing architectures.
Fluent German (C1+).
Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to present complex issues to business and tech stakeholders.
High analytical and abstract thinking skills; confident in deliverability, consent management (GDPR), data governance and performance optimisation.
Must have: Salesforce certification as Marketing Cloud Admin and Consultant.
Nice to have: Additional Salesforce certifications (Administrator/Consultant/Developer, Account Engagement Consultant, Data Cloud Consultant), experience with personalisation (Interaction Studio) and intelligence (Datorama), basic Python/JS for advanced automation.
Broad knowledge of Salesforce products, APIs, integrations and basic DevOps/versioning are an advantage.
