About the role
- Create compelling content across multiple formats; video, written, and visual, to showcase DIALOG’s innovative design and impact across internal and external channels
- Produce and edit video content, including occasional filming
- Plan, create, publish, and manage social media content (with a focus on LinkedIn and Instagram), including maintaining the content calendar and engaging with followers
- Research, write, and edit high-quality blogs, web content, and long-form storytelling projects
- Interview and prepare stakeholders for written and video content, including coaching for on-camera appearances
- Develop visual templates and repeatable content formats
- Ensure content accuracy, quality, and brand consistency through research, fact-checking, and collaboration with internal teams
- Support communications and marketing campaigns and initiatives
- Track and analyze content and social performance metrics, and prepare reports with actionable insights
- Provide administrative and operational support to the communications team as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in social media management and content creation
- Strong writing, storytelling, and research skills, with the ability to generate compelling ideas across formats
- Visual-first content creator with the ability to produce and edit high-quality video and social content (Adobe Suite experience preferred)
- Deep understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, hashtags, and evolving digital trends
- Experience using social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Google Analytics) to inform performance and optimization
- Creative, curious, and adaptable, with a strong engagement in digital content and marketing best practices
- Highly organized self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Strong collaborator and relationship builder, able to manage expectations and provide constructive feedback
- Design-minded with an appreciation for the built environment and how it is shaped.
