About the role

  • Deliver day-to-day People & Culture support to the Toronto studio, including onboarding, offboarding, employee documentation, and maintaining accurate employee records
  • Prepare and manage reporting, tracking, and documentation to support informed decision-making and smooth studio operations
  • Partner with the People & Culture Manager to implement and administer programs related to Total Rewards, engagement, and retention
  • Act as a reliable first point of contact for employee inquiries, providing clear guidance and support while escalating more complex employee relations matters as needed
  • Ensure compliance with Ontario employment legislation by maintaining up-to-date knowledge and supporting the application of policies and practices
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance efficiency across the Toronto studio’s P&C operations
  • Contribute to a positive, well-supported studio environment through a consistent in-person presence (minimum three days per week)
  • Support the coordination and delivery of key People & Culture initiatives, including engagement activities, and internal communications
  • Help bring programs to life locally by ensuring they are well-organized, clearly communicated, and effectively executed within the Toronto studio
  • Partner with the broader People & Culture team to ensure alignment and consistency across locations while tailoring support to local needs
  • Provide coordination support for recruitment activities across Canada as needed
  • Ensure a smooth and professional candidate experience through scheduling, communication, and process support
  • Use Lever ATS to maintain accurate candidate records and support hiring workflows
  • Assist with campus outreach and early talent initiatives, including career fairs, portfolio reviews, and internship/co-op programming

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in a People & Culture, Human Resources, or similar role
  • Highly organized with accurate and timely work delivery
  • Proactive mindset with ability to anticipate needs
  • Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to excellent employee support
  • Comfortable handling sensitive information with discretion
  • Thrives in a collaborative environment across functions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Adaptable with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
